This year, St Andrew’s is participating in STEM MAD. This student showcase is designed to acknowledge and promote STEM learning initiatives that address real-world problems and demonstrate student abilities. It encourages students to Make A Difference (MAD) in the world, by acting for justice and the common good.
In previous years, winners have generated designs and prototypes such as:
- Airborne ambulances
- Life-saving Flood poles
- Outdoor UV sensors
To be a member of this club, students are expected to:
- Work in small teams towards a common goal.
- Give up 1 lunchtime and be available for a before-school STEM session.
